yeah, but does it work? everybody knows bells are renowned for their complexity and generally require a phd to figure out how to get those darn things to ring. im concerned that the engineering that took place designing the innards of said bell is far too complex to be functional. i think i will stick with clapping...that always does the trick for me and requires much less precision in movement.

We have spent over a year developing this bell to ensure every aspect is sound. One of our main concerns was the clanker assembly, after hearing feedback from hundreds of fans and breaking several ourselves. The wire used is much stiffer than traditional clanker wire and is threaded through the clank weight from top to bottom, then secured from the bottom. We did away with the traditional ball bearing or "fishing weight" style clank weight, and replaced it with this design. It's movement is smoother and sturdier than any bell we have tested.

The Body is TIG welded, which basically means the two clam halves are completely welded together to make one solid piece of stainless steel. The bell body is warranted for life and guaranteed not to split.. Try one out and let us know what you think.

I have been through 4 cowbells with broken clangers. At $35 a piece for those, one $100 good bell is not a bad deal.

You're right.. tough to explain through typing. One particular example that might give you an idea happened early during developmental stages of the BattleBell. We were forced to develop a clanker dampener just in case the SEC has a problem with the sound increase. Also, the earplugs were a recommendation for liability purposes. The 16 Ga. Stainless was also the loudest of several materials tested.. much louder than the traditional imported bells used by the majority of State fans.

It'd be pretty easy to hear a comparison in a youtube video. It wouldn't be a perfect test, but if you rang a run of the mill cowbell and then a battlebell you should be able to tell a difference.

Could I get one with a baseball bat handle grip made from a broken Louisville Slugger? I would focus on the finishing of the metal. 100 dollars can buy you a straight up chrome bell with the bulldog logo etched into the surface. All that being said, the bells look good.

Rabbi Shmuley would know. He leads the boys hand bell choir at the synagogue. The boys call him Mr. Handy.

Oooooo kay? Just saying if I was trying to sell fan gear I'd want to associate..

it with a positive and energy filled atmosphere.... pretty sure that Battle Bell isn't much fun to ring late in a blow out.

You do you though my man.
