got me thinking, are we overlooking Memphis? Clearly they should be terrible with the new coach, lack of talent and zero depth. Obviously the Auburn game is critical but the last thing I want to happen is for Memphis to play us down to the wire, or god forbid we somehow lose. My worries are more than likely unfounded. Ideally Memphis is the perfect tune up game for Auburn, thoughts?

"It doesn't matter what we do, we as fans can't overlook a game. It's up to the coaches and players to do that..."

etc, etc, etc...

My inherent MSU paranoia has me thinking Larry Porter sets up nicely for RAT status. Being the new HC that he is, he'll probably have the Tigers fired up and ready to play and give us a game. Then, promptly follow up his solid debut with 11 straight losses.

on our schedule, while he is coach. We will be prepared and fight like hell every play, (unless we take a knee).

then this game won't be close. If it's close, or we lose...then we don't have the team we thought we did anyway so there's no need to fret about the rest of the season.

After 3 years of seeing Sherrill just not give a **** and then6 years of utter incompetence, it's just hard for some of us to accept that we actually have people in charge who know (and care) what the <17> they're doing.

and misery. I with ya' brother. I somehow think %++ is a different breed along with assistants and strength coaches. Maybe false optimism, but hope not.

....you can really get up to play 2-3 times/year. You have to win the rest of the time on talent.

Memphis being an opener should help us be ready, but I'd be worried if this was stuck between two SEC games.
