The UK fanbase is alive again!
Yes, some are feeling nervous. Some unsure and unsettled. Most are excited! I think we all are still taking a wait and see approach on how recruiting and March tournament runs go. The big key is we are feeling again. The passion is back!
For everyone who says we are going to suck - consider this. We knew exactly what Cal was going to give us. A top ranked recruiting class every year. A lot of promise, but little fulfillment. No desire to change. If you think Cal was going to change, take a look at his staff in Arkansas. The guy added Brad. That’s it! He’s been bounced by small schools and he makes no changes. He is set in his ways & we were going to rinse and repeat. IF THATS NOT BAD ENOUGH - He was going to stick around and be Ambassador!
No! We are taking the program back. If you are scared and posting ridiculous stuff…., get a hold of yourself!! This is a journey. It’s like a new business. We might break even next year as we get re-established. We have a vision now. Did you want to keep doing the same stuff over and over with Cal? Waiting on an Anthony Davis to lead us to a title? Enduring a bunch of 5 stars who might not even play if their agents tell them not to?
