I have to agree fully with this statement. I have never seen a larger collection of stupid in my whole life than the comment sections of the Clarion Ledger not just the sports stories either. Just about every story the CL runs. I really hope people from out of this state don't read the comment sections and think those people are the norm in Mississippi.thunderclap said:should be gathered up and studied.
Hilarious.The other choice is pretty much the same 10 people sitting around circle j*rking each other in every thread.
Glad I could give you a chuckle. The sad part is that it is a pretty apt statement regarding eaglepost.net. Like I've said, I've been lurking for a long time. I always loved your sig too. I thought it was hilarious when you altered it after the Super Bowl. Never thought I'd see it happen in my lifetime.dawgstudent said:Hilarious.The other choice is pretty much the same 10 people sitting around circle j*rking each other in every thread.
They also have the right to vote....which is comforting.Oxford Godfrey said:What scares me the most is that when I read a CL story at 700am CT, there are close to 50 comments already on it, none of which contribute anything other than the lowest common denominator of sports talk.
I have a sneaking suspicion of the punchline. Keg and Barrel is a great bar. Too bad it opened right at the end of my senior year and I've only been a couple of times. I'll probably be hitting it up this year when I'm down there for the games. Speaking of some good food and drink, I know Starkville has a Mugshots now. I love that place.GhostOfJackie said:I love the Keg and Barrel by the way...
If you get your choice, I'd try to make it to the Kansas game. If work doesn't interfere like it seems to quite often do, that is one I'm dying to attend.BigMotherTucker said:and wants me to go to a game with her this year. I probably will...
/I dont mind Southern
//Atleast its not OM
Who says they aren't being studied now?There are some of the most retarded people in those blogs, both schools "proudly" represent.thunderclap said:should be gathered up and studied.
That is something else that has always bugged me. I'll never understand why even when I'm old and gray. I could understand if a State fan was being demeaning to Houston Nutt by calling him "Nutts" but people having been adding an unnecessary "s" at the end of coaches' names for as long as I can remember. My own mom used to call me in college and for years she was convinced our old head coach's name was Jeff Bowers. I don't think my mom was being insulting, she honestly thought his name was Bower"s" I heard your previous coach called Crooms every day of his tenure. I haven't heard "Fedoras" yet but every day in the CL comment section, some jackass refers to Dan Mullen as "Dan Mullens." even though every coach I've mentioned has their name spelled correctly IN THE FRICKING TITLE of the article.bulldogcountry1 said:The next one will be a rebel using "Mullens".
