Yes, there is a pressure on our team in terms of being undefeated, and yes, they downplay it every time someone asks, but keep this in mind. Teams we have played throughout this season have played above themselves and with no fear...they were supposed to lose to this juggernaut. That feeling will change as the tournament progresses...Wisky, the Zags, Duke, Zona, Virginia will all feel this pressure...nobody will play us in the elite eight thinking "we don't have a chance, so let's just go light it up out there" We have taken best punches under this pressure to stay undefeated and we have stayed standing. Let's see how the others fare when we hit them in the mouth under the lights on a neutral floor...KNOCK OUT!!

You said in several hundred words what I have been thinking for some time. The pressure is on THEM to beat us.

I feel like we're going to roll through the NCAA tournament like we did in 2012. That year it felt like we were going to win every game before it even started. This has the same feel to it. I think we'll all be happy and have a great summer celebrating the greatest team in the history of the game.

Also, with the exception of the Ole Miss game, every game that was really close until the end was on the road. The biggest event in that school's basketball season. Almost every road game had a sellout crowd of screaming fans hoping that this was the night somebody knocks us off. WE WILL NOT play another game this year where our fans are outnumbered. Won't happen. I like our guys in a one game, winner take all, on a semi-nuetral court, against ANY team in the field.

GUYS....Like I have said before I don't think there is any pressure on this team. We depend on no ONE player or type of game to win. We win slow or fast....We win against man or Zone..........we win win if Willie or Andrew show up or not because we have KAT and Booker or Tyler. That takes all the pressure away. And we have an ACE in the hole.....Coach Cal!!

After this weekend the pressure of being undefeated is over. Losing and ending the season will far exceed our regular season accomplishment. If we make it through the SEC Tourney unscathed I see the undefeated issue as a positive enforcer only.

Like Andrew said, once you get to the NCAAT, everyone is undefeated. Plus our guys had an opportunity to feel the hype around the Wichita State phenomenon last year, and we saw how that played out.

These players seem to do a terrific job managing and/or masking any kind of pressure that can be felt at this point. The undefeated Indiana squad didn't have to deal with constant exposure and social media.

I think the fact that Cal has a sports psychologist on standby (Bob Rotella) really helps these kids get their mind right when going up against the undefeated talk.

The SEC schools have a better feel for what to expect when playing UK.
Any team we play in the tournament will be shocked by our size and depth.

I'm sorry, but I am not counting the IU or UL games as "rolling" through man. Those games were pretty close run things for the most part until the last couple of minutes. And even KU got too close for comfort as we all recall.

This. And when we come out and punch a team in the mouth the letdown for the other team could be massive.

I've said all along, as long as we play intensely and aggressively, we will be almost impossible to beat. I can't help but think that on the biggest stage, the stage these Cats have been waiting to return to since last April, there is no problem with keeping their foot on the gas.
