3 seconds ahead of his mind, I'll hold judgement on Favre but hopes aren't high. As for the commit, I'll go ahead and say Relf II. There's a reason why no one besides La Tech and Grambling want the guy. I fail to believe it's impossible for us to ever have a QB considering we can name 50 QB's from the mid majors that have done very well in comparison to ours. If they can find them, I see no reason why we can't.

If we had an O line personal that could reconized a blitz TR could play . (two passes of 17 and 19 yds when he came in)

I mean, how the hell do these mid-major programs find these productive QBs and we can't find ****?

UNLESS ............

I wonder .........

... if we played in a mid-major conference instead of the f'n NFL farm system, I wonder if our coosa quality QBs might become suddenly productive?

As long as we're ending up with coosa players, we can expect coosa results against the protected class of the conference.

there were times we say the blitz and picked up as many as we could- but LSU had us outnumbered. That happened to Ralph on his sack on the 1st series and then on his 2nd INT- that's Chavis outscheming Mullen and Koenning- not the OL's fault.

People are going to blitz the **** out of Russell- he might as well get ready for it

Prescott has spent his entire HS career in the Spread offense. No huddle and sling it. He is very comfortable in it and is a passer first, not a runner. Some schools wont go after him simply because he hasnt taken a snap under center in his career. He's not the top HS QB in the nation, but when you look at what we have on campus- he will be a welcome addition

I've seen some of his stats for the year, but no commentary.

That sounds like someone already on campus.

with a good O-Line and two good running backs and some receivers and a coach that calls plays to take advantage of our strengths.

Otherwise it is not all that important right now. They are a football team.

I'm just saying that Prescott is not a runner playing QB like Ralph is- Prescott is a legit QB...Russell may always be a better passer than Dak, no idea how that will play out- but Prescott can indeed run it when necessary

damn dubmass than I thought.

When given time Russell has shown poise and some accuracy. The problem is we may never have an offensive line built for an immobile pocket passer.
