His kids were behind the bench, on the floor, and probably in the locker room. His wife was screaming bloody murder in the stands. Whether you like that or not, you can't say that the man was taking his family for granted.

I personally didn't like the kids being right behind the bench or on the floor so much but I never questioned whether or not he was a family man. Geez.

in fact over the past few years the slogan for Stans' program should have been "MSU basketball, where every day is bring your kids to work day". Most people would say Stans went overboard in involving his family with his program so he could spend time with them.

Damn, dude. This is Stans's day to bow out gracefully. Show the man some respect and act as if you paid attention during his farewell address. It was a great speech.
