I'm a student and I totally agree Ricks Rowdies is totally lame due to the leadership.
Not sure where you get your info Todd4State.... but none of the current leaders have anything to do with the BSU.

Students at Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina and the like feel that they have won the lottery if they get to see a home game. There are far too many faculty and student seats in the Hump. You have never been to a basketball game outside the state of MS have you?
In Kentucky it works like this... The senior class gets to chose the four games they'd like to attend. Then the juniors select, and so forth. Our students packed the house only twice this season. Faculty sections were peppered with opposing team's fans all year long. I didn't miss a game this year, so I know what I'm talking about...
There are many people that would gladly attend if they had the chance, but too many seats are reserved for students and faculty.

This video is an example of a great idea that is well executed by the Nevada student section, but please, please, PLEASE do us (and yourselves) a favor and don't simply copy it. Everyone thinks this video is awesome because what they do is unique... Don't just write this down and repeat it at the next game. Think of something that's cool, intimidating, and UNIQUE to the Hump and do that well.

happened in that video. It wasn't the Nevada student section. If you are going to be "knowledgeable" about something...get your facts straight. If you don't...you just look stupid.

I am happy to hear this. They are embarassing. And before I get ripped, I think pretty much ANY student section at any school is embarassing and any school. Because you know- chicks always dig the "superfan" who wears body paint and wigs. Every school has them. It's another thing I don't like about college basketball. You can show up and support your team just as well without body paint. If you can't, you're simply an attention *****.
