The Rowdies are no more. They have been axed.

basketball team in the newly reunited student section. I am not sure why it took this long to make this change but it is indeed a good change.<div id="isChromeWebToolbarDiv" style="display:none"></div>
they disbanded to take away power from whomever is running the rowdies now.

Even if the guy's tenure grows beyond 20 years, the name will eventually have to change. Look at the Big 10 and Big 12. How stupid do they look right now with 12 and 10 members, respectively? At least the PAC-12 incorporated a little geography in their name and didn't bind themselves to a temporary number. If a new organization does evolve, I hope it doesn't make the same mistake.
It will come down to how the student experience is marketed...and more so..how the season goes.

I always said the Rowdies name was something that could likely never be salvaged and it would be better to re-boot under a new name, something to go along with the MSU or the hump and not just the current coach.

Thanks for "running off" the president that had Rowdies membership at 700. In 2008, my freshmen year, the student section was HYPED and loud, and not considered "lame" to be a rowdie. When that inbreed Wig took over and got you in the upper ranks with him, it all went to ****, and people stopped getting exciting for basketball games. Attendance, even before the section was split, after Wig took over decreased 7-fold and more. Last year there were less than a dozen in both sections combined. Get off your high mule and go back to your wife-sister.
I hope this turns out as to be as amusing as I think it could.
On a another note, I have always thought Scooba seemed like a good dude who tried his damnedest to make the Rowdies more popular. I'm not sure why coastdawg228 is calling him "white trash." And besides, isn't it rather ironic for someone named "coastdawg228" to refer to someone else as "white trash." I mean, the coast doesn't exactly have a sterling reputation. (I actually like the coast, but...)
