in 3 quarters to Peyton Manning (the greatest QB in history according to the experts this week.) The Saints' D scored as many points as the Colts in the 2nd half.

Our D did it all year long... bend but not break D... andoften forcing big turnovers when needed, numerous pick 6's... it was only fitting that we got one at the end!!!!!!!!! Thank goodness for Payton reaching into his pocket $250 grandfor bringing in Williams... and G. Hartley has a nutt sack made of steel!!!!!!! WHOOOO freakin DATTT BABY!</p>

Knocking off some of the greatest QB's ever in doing so.... Warner, Favre, Manning

Not to mention beating Brady and the other Manning also in the same year! All who have won Super Bowls... Youcan't beat that!!!!!

of the regular season. I know they had a couple hurt during that stretch but they didn't look like they could stop anyone.

once the perfect season was gone the Saints just layed low and prepared for the playoffs. That three game losing stretch was the best thing to happen to them this year.

moreso than the DL with the injuries. Randall Gay, Jabari Greer, and Tracy Porter were out for a lot of the last 6 games of the regular season. Once they got all back, the defense started playing better.

As good as their offense was, and it was really good, I agree that the Saints defense is what won the game for them.

Yes, agree 100%. With Greer and Porter out, Williams' scheme suffered. It rendered his blitz packages ineffective.
