are all from the East. Let's see how the West does tomorrow and in the BCS.
Exactly... let's not say the SEC is 0-3. Its the SEC East that is 0-3. Big difference this year.

I still don't understand how it helps my team for its competitors to win.

Conference supremacy is overated in my book. How many recruits has my team gained from the SEC winning the last 4 titles? I don't think I could point to any. How many recruits have we lost to Alabama and LSU? Definitely a lot more.

17 the SEC. I hope they all lose and you should hope the league goes 1-9.

Player after player is looking for an opportunity to play in the SEC. Your average 3* player with 2 SEC offers is simply thrilled to have a chance to play in the SEC. Without looking or researching, I bet you have 10 players on your roster who went to Ole Miss primarily because it was an SEC school.

And one in a while, these player are diamonds on the rough.....like MSU's Titus Brown. An all-SEC player with offers nowhere else that mattered. But he chose to play in the SEC. Good for us.

I bet recruits couldn't tell you the conference record in bowl games last season. All they know is the SEC is on tv all the time and gets a ton of exposure. Bowl record doesn't mean jack squat; never has and never will.

Why do you think the SEC is on TV all the time? Because it's the dominant conference in college football.

Another reason is that it makes a less than stellar record look better when the only losses are to other SEC schools. I guess the high ranking of those opponents also helps...
