Korian Chambers and Jason Peacok are both on track to graduate in Dec. and be eligible for spring practice at Pac-10, Big 12, and CUSA schools but can't get out until May if they choosea SEC school. Is this the rule that was put in place after we went to the SEC championship game with a bunch of Jucos? I don't know why we would have tougher entrance requirements than the Pac 10 or really any conference in D1.

I heard the SEC was no longer accepting BYU correspondence courses, and my guess is they have some in their educational background.

However, I believe the SEC has required 1 extra math hour or something for a while now. I remember when DeAndre Brown was being recruited there was talk that he wouldn't be able to get into an SEC school, because he was 1 class, or credit, or hour, short - so he ultimately signed with USM.

In fact, it had already been changed but didn't become effective until the next season.
