was probably allowed because there is a bit of trust that they were not going to ask "probing" questions about what has happened afew weeks ago but instead were going to concentrate onwhat had just happened in the game. Our administration and/or coach know what CL reporters would attempt to do to Sidney if he were allowed to speak. They would ask those "probing" questions Rick Cleveland refers to in his Sunday edition article, and it would not matter how Sidney answered they would never be satisfied. They would attempt to "bait" him into getting angry and doing something inappropriate that they could write about. The bigger story here is the improvement of Sidney the past few weeks and his domination of TSUN in his two games against them. Does that mean CL reporters should not ask the "probing" questions? No. Eventually they will get their chance and the answer given by Sidney will not be good enough. Sidney will say the past is in the past and that he has regrets but is trying to move forward now. That will not be good enough and the reporters will continue to "probe". Apparently Stans and/or Strickland do not think Sidney is ready for those type of reporters so Sidney is off limits to reporters. That is the decision so get over it reporters.

I wouldn't have let Sidney be interviewed period, but Stans is right to restrict the normal media from baiting him, and that's exactly what they will do...
