It's not a bad arena at all, but it could use a renovation and a new sound system.

I liked the arena too. For an arena that size, the seats were really good even at the top where I sat.

I was wondering if it was just my seats. We were in the lower bowl under the upper deck. They had speakers there but didn't have them on. I wonder if they were plugged into the house system. I saw George Strait there and the acoustics were fine. Love the arena, dated but still very nice and no bad site lines.

Also I fell out of my seat laughing when they played the National Anthem (Sweet Home Alabama) during the doubles match and everyone jumped up and started singing. Almost as bad as when they play from Dixie with love at Ole Miss.

I also go to wondering when passing through Tuscaloosa how many grown men have cried at the Bear Bryant Museum. Also, is Bryant Bank in AL another attempt to capitalize on the love fest for the Bear?

but the replays were bush league. I realize the screen was smaller than the TV in my living room, but the entire first day they didn't even show any replays. The finally showed one or two. I had to watch the rebroadcast on the tennis channel just to figure out what the hell Andy was saying.
BJCC blows.
don't even get me started. It was nice seeing a fair number of MSU tags in the parking deck.</p>

I've been wondering about Bryant Bank myself. If I had to bet I would put it all on trying to capitalize on the Bear. The sad thing is, I bet it works. I imagine there are plenty of Alabamians who keep there money with them based on nothing more than the name.

As far as the sound system goes, it was pathetic. If I had anything to do with production at the BJCC I would be embarrassed every time someone speaks at an event. We didn't even stay for the interview with the Bryan brothers because you couldn't understand a damn thing they were saying. Other than that, I really enjoyed my first pro tennis match. The talent those guys posses is incredible. I was pretty impressed just by their warm up. Very entertaining.
