The more I see other teams play, the more despaired I become watching the product Jans and his group of middle school PE instructors roll onto the hardwood. They have failed 4 straight years in the portal. The most frustrating part of it is that almost every school at any level has multiple guys that can shoot. We have one who never gets any open looks. I don't know what the practices are like, but when I watch Ballard or Achor try to set a pick in games, I just laugh. In his best year at WSU, Ballard averaged 10 ppg. Achor played in 7 games last year and averaged 7 ppg and less than 3 boards at KSU. How could anyone watching film on those 2 guys in any way think those 2 were going to contribute in the SEC? Watching the Bama/TAMU game reinforced my sense of hopelessness with this staff.
This situation is exacerbated for me, because I don't care at all for college baseball and am only moderately invested in football. The games at Bama and at Florida are gonna be embarrassing. We're looking at 30-40 point beat downs.
