We won playing tough d making plays when they counted and took what they gave us. If this takes us deep in the tournament I'll take it all day long. It's not like we just lost the all time wins record. The record was great but overrated and I'm glad we will still be playing Saturday

Honestly I can say that while I will miss it, I no longer have that little insignificant nugget to worry about.

I didn't want to see the streak end. Its not a mutually exclusive thing where you have to trade a win over Davidson for it.

It sucks. We took pride in it keeping it alive for 30 years.

I took zero pride in it because it is meaningless. It’s like taking pride in getting out of bed for 30 years.

duly noted and the appropriate concern for your opinion registered.

I didn't notice alot of "I don't care about it " (as in any) posts during the games in the past when the players managed to hit a single 3 pointer later in the game. That tells me the the I don't care about it folks are protesting a bit too much.

Better streak...

UK hasn't lost a game in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 10 years.

Edit: When the 3-point streak started in 1988, then UK didn't go to the NCAA Tournament that year.

It’s the same concern that you want the team to hit their free throws. Or grab rebounds. Not that it has a historical significance.

In all seriousness my brother called it about three months ago. If you don't recruit players who can consistently shoot, then you shoot poorly from outside. Cal got his wish.

It kills me to lose the streak to a 12 seed first round game. this team is exhausting. We should have stomped a mudhole in them and been able to find nice open threes the second half.. 30 years of history--
