The o-line is suddenly blocking and our receivers are actually getting separation. The difference in energy and effort is night and day.

our players. We need to support them regardless of who is playing on the field.

Remember... Alabama knocked out Florida's QB. You never know when a backup is going to play.

We demand better than the old Mississippi State fans. Most of us don't say, "Well, we are ole MSU."

you might can explain some of it on offense with the threat of a valid passing game, but even the KICKER did better after Russell came in. Two to the endzone and evena TOUCHBACK.

is EXACTLY what MSU fans have always done, bitched and moaned, demanded better in a hurry. It's never worked. You only THINK you are different.

My point was that it was great to see Tyler do so well. It was obvious as Matt Wyatt was saying that UAB gives up over 300 yards. What is missing from some of your input is that Relf has been playing with a bad shoulder. If Tyler had been healthy these last two weeks, I would have played Tyler so Relf could get healthy.

An offensive line that is injured is not helping with us playing Relf. Tyler is more assertive in his passing... he gets the ball quickly.

This old bulldog has NO issues with Tyler Russell playing. It's just that I know that we will need both QBs and maybe even Favre this season. Our offensive line is still hurting and inexperienced.

The worse thing is for any bulldog to downgrade or belittle a player that has given their all only to not help us due to an injury.

Let's not write off any player on the squad. I do agree that Tyler has earned a start for next weekend. If Relf starts, I will support him also.

It is Tyler's time.

to the ball for 7 seconds and take a sack? Which part of his poor ole hurt shoulder causes him to make terrible reads and throw into impossible situations? If his hurt shoulder is bothering him so much that he can't do the one thing that gives him an advantage over other QBs then why is he playing? It is not a matter of not supporting our quarterback, my little nice sayings about him on a message board aren't going to make him any better or any worse. When a guy is playing terrible he should be called out for it, it is College Football, not recreational football for children under 10. When he was playing well, I expressed that to my friends and anyone around, now that he is playing like crap I am expressing that to my friends and anyone around.

You show me a Quarterback that has to have all the nicest things about him said on a message board for support in order to play well and I will show you one terrible 17ing football player. It is too bad we never supported Henig or those 6(?) interceptions might have been TDs against LSU in 2007.

With all that said, Relf is not completely terrible. He is obviously not 100% and that is why he needs to be used sparingly next week in wildcat situations, he definitely has better throwing skills than any of our other guys that we would put in the wildcat formation.
