Message: <blockquote data-quote="The Bell Tolls for Thee" data-source="post: 131804496" data-attributes="member: 1812660"><p>I agree that the defense has its problems and in both of our losses they gave up drives that sealed the game when a stop would've kept us in it.  It has been by no means perfect.  However, despite their problems the defense has for the most part played beyond well enough for WVU to be 4-0.  The offense on the other hand has for the most part played poorly enough for WVU to be 1-3 at this point.  So I find critiques of the defense in response to critiques to the offense to be hollow.  It makes little sense to expect improvement from the defense as much as the anemic offense that for significant portions of the game poses as much of a threat as a kitten.</p></blockquote><p></p>
