The tragic Scalise shooting may open an opportunity for us.

America can continue this downward spiral of partisan sniping, name-calling and bickering. Or America can come together, work together, and succeed together. It is a clear and timely choice.
Assignment of blame and pointing of fingers does no one any good at this point, other than to boost some egos by cutting down an opponent.
Let's dump the Congressional investigations into Trump. They are essentially a partisan sideshow for Republicans and Democrats to strut around the barnyard to see who can most loudly scream "cock-a-doodle-do." Let Mueller do his investigation and report back. If he says there was no wrongdoing, accept it and move the country forward. If he says there was wrongdoing, accept it, punish the wrongdoers appropriately, and move the country forward.
Let's hope the leader of our country will lead by sending out one last tweet with a message of unity and tolerance, and will then concentrate on leading, not tweeting. And then let's support him because he is our President, and give him the opportunity to make this country even greater than it already is. If he succeeds, we're all better off. If he doesn't succeed, voice your opinion at the ballot box.

I support that approach.

Eight years (at minimum) of extreme hatred from Dumb Donald, Fox, Breitbart, and every Repub and right leaning extremist in the country isn't going to be easily forgotten. Dumb Donald has depended on this hatred to take our freedom for the benefit of the elite. Wishing it all away is a pipe dream. I'm guessing this is just the beginning.

After that hideous display yesterday by that Senate committee, nothing will end the partisanship.

The President (Republican or Democrat) could be accused of murder with some evidence to support that assumption and members of Congress would stonewall and hinder an investigation to place party over country.

Seriously. He's like a lot of the nuts I see on Facebook finding excuses for today's shooting "Well this Congressman spoke to white supremacists..." "Not my President...."

This country is so broken thanks to social media, I don't ever see it getting better.

You keep insisting there is wrong doing. The only wrong doing has been from the previous lawless socialist group. You lost, quit throwing a temper tantrum.

I agree. I hate social media. I don't have an account on any. Perhaps if our President should tweet less, at least the inflammatory ones? People have always been stupid or think stupid things. We have always had "bad" things to say, but now these people have an avenue and it's social media for all to see.

We've already crossed the Rubicon, there is no kiss and make up in the cards. Amicable divorce is the best case solution. The Right kicks the Lefts *** in a Civil War is the worst case. Why do you people keep insisting that there's some sort of middle ground we can return to?

Cannot agree about letting Mueller continue. His relationship with Comey (a major witness in the case) makes him unfit to proceed. His choices for assistants is well beyond being skeptical, having chosen all Democrts and one who was representing Hillary in the server scandal and stonewalled freedom of information requests to the obama administration. It has been noted by well healed lawyers (some prominent Dems) that there is NO obstruction case possible. PERIOD. Yet we hear this is the route he is pursuing. He should do the honorable thing and resign immediately.

Hahahahaha.

It's very clear that it is obstruction of justice.

Funny damn thing, just a couple of weeks ago, everyone was perfectly fine with Muelller.

Heat getting a little hot now, time to cut him loose.

Hahahahahaha.
