I have never watched any game on ESPN3 and its my understanding that metrocast doesnt allow you to get it? If this is wrong please explain. If this game is streamed on line only that is complete garbage. Away games are always fun to watch out at a sports bar and since its a stream, there goes that option. If they dont have the stream available to metrocast users, how in the hell are people in Starkville supposed to watch this game? If this post is wrong and idiotic, please inform me. If it's not, where do I need to start sending emails to? Metrocast or Stricklin?

It's a non-conference away game. Stricklin has no control over it. Send your emails to Troy's AD and/or the Sunbelt commisioner. I'm sure they'll be really attentive to an opposing team's fan.**

I just want to be able to watch the game and any input/solutions would be appreciated.

You can send as many as you want but I would be planning on being somewhere other than starkville if you want to watch it.

Isn't campus on ESPN3. Maybe send something to Stricklin about broadcasting somewhere on campus.....

ESPN Gameplan? Shirley ESPN would take MONEY to allow people to watch this game on their TV screen.

but the article says exclusively so I thought it was only on espn3. And I think the campus may be on it (not sure though) but there always seems to be some kind of blackout with espn3.

Have no idea if they will show this one. I may just go to the game, that way I won't have to worry about it!

ESPN3 broadcasts seem to normally be on WatchESPN. The only problem is that your cable or satellite provider has to support it ... that's how you sign in. I know Comcast supports it, I think DirecTV does, and Dish does not. So it's quite possible that it will be on in sports bars.

I watched some of our baseball games on my iPad and the video is really good ... very watchable if there is no other option.

tickets are still available. And you will not have to worry about what ESPN channel the game would be broadcast on.

I watch ESPN3 on my computer all the time. There are times when games are blacked out but I don't think I've missed a State game in 3 years because of espn3. We just plug the computer into a projector or the TV and there you have it. It sometimes doesn't have the quality of regular games and will stop to load but normally it works out fine.

If you aren't using a provider that automatically streams ESPN3, all you have to do is find someone who does use one of those providers and get their login information to be able to watch the game using a different provider. If you don't want to go that route, you can go to a bar that is showing the game. If you don't want to go that route, wait till the game is about to start and it is pretty easy to find someone online that is streaming on justintv or something like that. Once you get the game, just hook your computer up to your tv and it's the exact same as watching espn, except you can't pause or fast forward and change channel during commercial with your remote. If you have xbox360 online, you can get the espn app or you can get the watch espn app on your computer. If you plan ahead, there's no reason for this to keep anyone from watching the game.

to hook up a computer or iPad to the television and get an HD signal? There's no HDMI output on my computer, and I don't think there's one on the iPad (haven't had it very long and haven't looked).
