according to certain posters on Gene's are: 1. continuity...we will never be good without sticking it out with a coach 2. probation...we promised Croom 4 years after probation ended and he needs 2 more years to completely turn things around. I cannot believe somebody believes this stuff. 5 years is an eternity in college football today. If he was 30-31 instead of 21-40 these arguments might make sense.

The douchenozzle MSU fans who think we are a revolving door need a goddam reality check. Damn, we held on to Jackie for 3 years too long because we were too f'ing scared to go search for a coach, and now this. Coaches nowadays don't have any damn loyalty and nobody expects them to have any. It's a BUSINESS and at MSU, business is in the *******.

Name one game that you could say was won with his coaching philosophy.
The man could have re-assigned Woody to another coaching position on the team after last year and brought in some fresh ideas. He did not. He has had 5 years to orchestrate a plan to take his ideas as a football coach and produce something that the majority of fans could be proud of. His plan has not worked for MSU. From a mangement point of view, he was given a lot of responsibility with no HC experience and so far results have not met the Stock owners approval. After last year made 4 years of ugly offensive production, you have to think someone in the power told him to cut Woody back and change directions or take a chance on losing his job if we were not winners in 2008. I will hope that the scenario most people throw around for the end of this year actually took place last year and we will be seeing a change in leadership.
As a sidenote...Tyson Lee may not be SEC cailber but to me he does show a lot of heart and leadership and I appreciate his effort in giving his all. He took a lot of big hits today while trying to stay in the pocket and make some throws.
