It seems that some posters here and elsewhere are questioning and/or ridiculing the love shown to Greg Byrne by many on this board. They are arguing that Byrne really hasn't done anything worthy of the support, and they reference the apparent failure to hire Petersen today as evidence.
The thing is, this whole "go after the most obvious coaches who appear able to get MSU more success" is a new deal here. Under the old regime, we are looking at Raffo and Croom. We Byrne fans are simply new to this trying to rise up and win stuff. So, cut us some slack.
