Any of you watched Black Summer on Netflix? I thought it was pretty good. The zombies are runners (like 28 Days Later) so it ups the suspense. If you haven’t seen it, check it out.

Edit to add: I hate what they’ve done to The Walking Dead. They should have ended it with Rick killing Neagan and started a new spinoff.

Did you see where they are doing a spin off of Rick ? It’s like a mini series but Lincoln will not be returning to the main show.

Yea the problem with a show like that, is it's inevitable that some of the actors are going to Branch out. "Maggie" got the Whiskey Cavalier gig, "Daryl" got his own reality show (although he is still in it), Lincoln is gonna do his thing. The show almost got too big to stay in tact.

Totally. It’s why they should have ended it 2 seasons ago with Rick killing Neagan. The fan base is so big that they could do multiple spinoffs (another one is in the works I’ve heard) and the premise is perfect for it. I wasn’t a big fan of Fear The Walking Dead the first season, but I like the cast of characters it has now and I prefer it to TWD.

I hope the new spinoff goes into the origins of the virus and it’s global impact. TWD season 1 finale touched on it, but left a lot of unanswered questions.

Huge Huge fan of Zombie stuff. I haven’t checked out Black Summer yet though. It seems like Negan might have turned a corner and seems like he might be on the good side, however, the whisperers are dog crap nuts!!

Are u a big video gamer also? Huge huge video gamer here also. Lol

I think they left the possibility for Rick to come back on the show if he wants. That’s why I think they never really killed him off or anything like that.

Not much anymore. I have a PS4, but I haven’t played it in probably 6 months. I have been tempted to get that Days Gone game after seeing a commercial for it.

Mortal Kombat is a lot of fun! World War Z. That’s another good Zombie game that came out and that’s a lot of fun also. The Zombie are just like in the movie. They come at you in big waves! World War Z can be a big adrenaline rush. Lol

World War Z sounds like fun! I wish the sequel would finally happen. I read that it keeps getting approved then dropped. Much like Bad Boys 3.

Walking dead is going to end by rick coming back and he’s found a cure to stop the virus. He wakes up in the hospital its all been a big dream but the virus is just starting BUT he knows the cure so boom he prevents it all

The recent season finale was a real let down.

Red an article that Lincoln would return to direct some episodes but has no need in coming back the ending showing him being flown off is suppose to kick off the three series pilot and Maggie left due to contract negotiations. After learning her , Daryl and Machione would be the new main characters they wouldn’t up her contract.

It has got big fella Jerry a lot of movie parts on Shazam and Den of thieves

Black summer is really good IMO as it has a certain rawness to it that TWD has lost these days. The season finale was especially good.

I like it.(Black Summer) It throws you right in the action. Its no way near as good as first 3 seasons WD, but better than what WD is now. Right now my guilty pleasure is binge watching Riverdale. Haunting of Hill House is a good one. Re: games I like the Resident Evil and Dead Space and Dead Island series.

It is a different take on a zombie apocalypse and kind of all over the place so it can be a little hard to follow. I hate that there are no subtitles for Sun (Korean girl), the zombies can run the 40 faster then Usain Bolt, and of course no one on the show has ever watched a zombie movie prior because they can’t figure out how to kill them. Hello, head shots anyone?
The whole armory episode was really weird and of course the end of season one seems as unrealistic of a conclusion as you would think with everything that happened. BTW - Don’t join up with Jamie King when the zombies attack. She will certainly get you killed.

Completely off topic but if you guys want to watch an awesome show, watch True Detective Season 3 on HBO. Season one is awesome too.

I read the walking dead up to about issue 170-175 and I’ve dropped it. I dropped the show sooner

I saw the 1st and 2nd season, but the 2nd season was def not as good as first, so I never watched the third. I heard it was good from someone else as well. Guess I should watch it.

Riverdale will have you hooked. It is the ultimate guilty pleasure. And has a nice Luke Perry role as Archie's dad. It's a twisted take on the Archie comics. Twin Peaks meets Archie.

I know they claim Rick or Maggie are not coming back but I'm calling BS. Shows ratings keep dropping enough they will bring them back, no doubt in my mind. Maggie's new show will get dropped after one season. Every other show/movie she's played in has been a dud.
