What the hell kind of punishment is that. Do you give back your trophies earned? Are you not allowed to say you were sec west champs?
I know some violations don't constitute severe punishments, but I dont know what forfeits really accomplish, especially when they are loses in past seasons.

i agree with you assclown...forfeiting wins dont mean ****...

I hope Sidney gets eligible, Stansbury makes it to a FF, and then the NCAA tells us in 2012 we have to forfeit our FF...17 them, you cant take away those wins, that awesome season, the feeling of pride watching your team play and win, the publicity you get when you are there...

Forfeiting wins in a bunch of ********....you need to re-read my post you Rebel retard

...supposedly something like 200 athletes gave textbooks that they had received via scholarship to NON-athletes. So, the athletes at Bama received no advantage or privilege. Who really gives a ****? The people receiving benefits weren't athletes.

3 years of probation and probably "vacate" wins from 05 to 07. Big f'n deal. No scholly losses at all. None. This ain't going to do anything but piss Saban off more than kiffin's crazy *** ever could. Thanks a lot NCAA stupid MFers.

...if this were happening to State, would yall be saying "man we should be getting a lot worse"?? No, because the coaches weren't involved (wether or not they knew or not makes no difference, everyone would claim ignorance on the part of their coaching staff). The kids were doing something stupid....or smart; sounds like a sound business plan to me: get books for free, sell them for huge profit.

That figures. We beat them two of the years they have to forfeit wins.

there will be asterisks for "Due to NCAA infractions, Virginia forfeited all games in the 2009 baseball season" as well as asterisks for "Virginia Cavaliers are a buncha meanies and got so lucky against Ole Miss."</p>

Because the players did something that the university failed to catch? I mean, come on, I could ride up to Oxford with $1000 cash and pull off the same textbook stunt and get them caught. Does that mean Ole Miss deserves the death penalty?

All Alabama really deserves is a warning. The players deserve punishment for their actions. The NCAA is nothing but a big steaming pile of corruption that sort of smells like ****.
