I'm unsure how we could not retain a coach for at least one more season that was in the Liberty Bowl last year is beyond me. He brought dedication and respect to our program after Jackie ran it into the ground. All I see is bad things being said about the classiest coach we've ever had. Hell, he's the first African American coach ever to hold the top position in an SEC football program. Does anyone not remember the hype just years ago when Croom took the helm? We all knew he'd take us to the top and he was almost there.

This is a sad day for our program. May god have mercy on our souls.

I suppose. But your man should have been a little more flexible in his thinking if he wanted to remain our coach. If he had been willing to change offensive coaches and philosophy, he probably would be our coach right now.

We're talking about the Liberty Bowl, not Cotton or even Peach, we're talking about the Liberty. I enjoyed going to the game as much as anybody, but damn, it was a game vs the tops in C-USA (where on national tv our piss poor offense was on showcase). I am one happy SoB today... wooooo m<17>'n hooooo...

This season has brought me to the brink of madness and I wanted some to add some fun to the conversation. Please turn on the sarcasm meters.

Please Croom, I hope the door slams into your fat *** on your way out the door!

It's hard to believe that I actually started posting on this board 5 years ago. This season has caused me to go into a near reclusion as my interest in MSU sports has gone into hibernation. I was hoping for some good out of the bball team. I'm hoping the past two nights have woken them up.

HD6 makes the best pizza on the face of the planet. Or did, hell I don't live in Starkville anymore so who knows. There's nothing in Panama City Beach that matches the Heydog special.

Good talent--they just have to gel. I was actually ok with the effort tonight. We played terribly and still hung tough. It would be worse if that was the best we could do, but we are no where close to our potential. My only concern is that Barry hasn't stepped it up yet like I hoped.
