After Friday night, I just don't care anymore. I think a lot of fans feel this way as evidenced by the attendance. I doubt we have large crowds this weekend either. This baseball team, even when they win, is not fun to watch. Push across the occasional run with Fielder's choice or sac fly's just doesn't get anyone excited. I like Cohen and I want him to succeed. But as someone posted earlier it's really hard to ignore his SEC record. Add that to the attendance numbers and it just doesn't look good for the program. I'm sure Cohen gets another year, but even if he's fired who could we even get. I'd be terrified to have to find a baseball coach after what Strick did with the basketball hire. But at the end of the day I don't think the majority of state fans care if Cohen stays or goes (this doesn't count the message board warriors that hate stans but love cohen). That attitude may hurt the baseball team worse than the two extremes.
