Just over one year ago from our Ole Miss friends:
1) "He is such a good man and just needs more time"
2) "we don't even think about State, LSU is our real rival"
3) "next year will the most talented Ole Miss team in 30 years, Snead will be a Heisman finalist and lead the rebs to the BCS"

Annnnnd NOW:
1) "I hope you enjoyed sitting at home while we enjoyed our second straight cotton bowl"
2) "let's all email Slive about cowbells, here is his email address and phone number"
3) "Mullet is not a christian"
4) "Let's stalk MSU recruits facebook"
5) "Mullet will never get good assistants because the word is out about him being an ***, the ship in Starkville is sinking faster than the Titanic and all of the assistants are bailing while they can"
6) "Mullet's wife hates Starkville and has moved to California, trust me I know a guy who knows a guy who coaches her third cousin's soccer team"

beating OM every year for the last 5 years, which would you take?
LSU is UM's main rival, my enemy's enemy is my friend.

But I'd still take UM, maybe just me though.

MSU is clearly OM's biggest rival. But MSU hasn't been very good for the last decade, and LSU has been. So if the question is, who would I rather have beaten in the last 5 years, it's obviously LSU. I think that's where a lot of this has gotten misplayed, even in OM fans' minds. Put another way, if LSU had sucked the last 5 years as bad as MSU has sucked, then I think most OM fans would admit they'd rather beat MSU in that time frame -- because all things being equal MSU is the main rival.
