I have heard there are several sitting ADs from BCSconferences, as well as some assistants from high profile programs as well, and that the pool is pretty impressive. I think some of it has to do with instability in college athletics. Not knowing where some teams are going to be after all of the conference expansion, disbanding, etc, has led to several successful ADs applying for our job to get in the SEC because they know the money will be there and it is as stable as something like this can be.
