Another quote:

"We got guys that played that don't deserve minutes"..........

Hmm..........Who is he talking about?

The opening quote from Huggs. I wonder what that's about? (I think we know what/who)
Tired of pansy players demanding crap and running from school to school along with coaches who use innuendo to shed any blame for piss poor results. Too much money. Too much me first. Not enough student...athlete...and team.

"We got guys that played that don't deserve minutes"

OK, soooo, why are they getting minutes?
He says this every year. And vows to not be held hostage by players who don’t deserve to get the minutes they keep getting. Just toss this into the same basket as “the guys aren’t in the gym” and “we can’t stop the straight line drives” etc…

You're absolutely right. I've been a big Huggs supporter and hate the attitude of today's pampered pussyletes but enough. Time for a wholesale change. Wvu sports sucks.

I’m not going as far to say we need coaching changes, I’m just saying he says the same stuff every year but guarantee we see the same lineup. Who is he referring to when he says guys don’t deserve the minutes? Who is he going to take out? Keddy? No, he’s playing well for the most part. Stevenson? Maybe. Matthews? Doubt it. He said Toussaint deserves more minutes but struggles to justify taking someone out to put him in. Tre Mitchell? Nah. Bell? Heck no… my point is, nobody currently getting minutes fits the narrative of his wrath. At least in my mind. Maybe Wague, he seems to be in and out of the doghouse for whatever reason, but it’s not like just anyone on the roster can play his spot. I also find the dramatic speech a bit overdone if it’s regarding a single player. Nobody else is getting (significant) minutes.

Bottom line is if we make our free throws, we probably have a couple more wins right now and feel a lot better about our team and situation. I doubt free throws will get fixed.

Okonkwo needs more minutes than Wague. Touissant hasn't look very confident out there. He dribbles way too much, doesn't get the team in to offensive sets quick enough (neither does Keedy, either).

I've said for a while, we need to play Mitchell at the 5 spot. Matthews at the 4. Go small with starting Touissant and Keedy.

Think it was ultra evident he refers to his being 'gagged'/prevented, through threat of fines, etc.. from speaking the truth about the horrible officiating we seem to receive game after game. It IS evident that the 'men in stripes' occupy a special place as a reason for our collapses.

A good team would not let itself get into the position where the refs would even matter in the outcome.
The refs didn't play defense with their hands on every drive to the basket in the final 1:30 of the Texas game. That was completely lack of (or desire not to) playing defense.
