seem to recall them playing the Black Bears in Memphis on a Thursday night back before Tubberville snuck out ofOxford in a blue and orange pine box.

unless they change some policy. They played on a Thursday when Manning was there (I think against Ole Miss) and afterwards the AD/school said they would never do that again. Since then, they haven't played a game on a day other than Saturday except for bowl games and the post-Katrina LSU Monday game. I know they have refused to move games to Thursday for ESPN in the past.<div>

That game was originally scheduled as a Thursday night game but was changed to a Saturday. The school changed the academic calendar accordingly once it was changed back to a Saturday. I know this because we were planning a Disney World trip sometime around that time and it made us change the date.
