There's going to come a time when we'll need Russell to win the game for us.....

It may be Arkansas, Kentucky, Ole Miss, whatever. But I think we can all agree that moving forward with Prescott is considered building for the future. Staying with Russell (if that's even an option) is trying to win now. I'm torn on what to do. I think if we continue to with Prescott, we likely go 5-7. If we use Russell, he MAY connect at the end of that close game (whenever it may be) to win and get us to a bowl.

We all know Prescott has more potential, but is he the guy for right now? Because honestly I thought we should have gone with Russell 100% after his 2nd TD pass. Glad I'm not an offensive coach right now.

Problem with TR is our OL. They're below average in pass blocking, and it kills TR's ability to stand tall in the pocket. Conversely, it highlights Prescott's mobility. I dont know what the answer is.

I say play them both and go with the hot hand later in the game.

All we really need to be concerned about now is if our OL can block Bowling Green, Kentucky, Arkansas and Ole Miss. They SHOULD be able to handle them. Need to expend all efforts into winning those games, even if it means we're flat vs. aTm and Bama. We aren't beating them anyway.

I like Russell a lot but I also don't think the OL is fully to blame. Dak released the ball so much faster than Tyler on most plays. It was very noticeable. I just don't understand how Mullen, a QB coaching specialist, hasn't overworked Tyler on this issue. And if he has and there was no improvement, then Tyler didn't need to start in the first place.
