Didn't the state Att Gen say it was the most mishandled investigation he had ever seen?

Tallahassee cops: "Yeah, we talked to the witnesses, but I complete forgot to write anything down."

I'd say

florida has their own problems to worry about. Jesus, they're terrible. We would work them, and that's saying something.

I think the DA is an FSU Alum. He was also the DA that dealt with some of the Peter Warrick nonsense.

In all fairness, I heard when the victim was first interviewed they had the perp at 5'9"-5'10". then later the perp magically transforms to 6'4". I don't know if that is misremembering or thinking that Jameis involved in this could mean some $$$. It's funny how cash and lawsuits affect the memory or eithics in general.

I would be more suspicious of them naming Jameis if it hadn't happened well before he was a celebrity. I mean maybe, MAYBE she realized he was also a pretty good baseball prospect, but that seems like a long shot. Your average citizen definitely doesn't know who the redshirting freshman quarterback is.

I live in Tallahassee. The TPD is incompetent -- their recent track record includes a young female drug informant getting killed in an asinine sting and officer abuse of a drunk driver. The state DA got this year old case referred to him a week ago. He has to do his due diligence and work through the facts. I expect he'll drop the case before Thanksgiving.
