I have Firefox with Ad Block Plus, and I've never seen any of these ads everyone is complaining about.

That's better than what I get occasionally when I come here. I get a pop up that says "X" viruses found, your computer should be scanned immediately. Then it hi-jacks my browser and takes me to a download page and starts downloading it's program.

I learned after the first time to X out of it instead of hitting cancel because that just continues the download. It started about 3 weeks ago and went over a span of 2 weeks. It hasn't happened over the last week.
