Look like the came straight from a junior high thursday night game. Hard to watch a multi billion product in the hands of inferior referees.

The replacement refs won't be out there much longer. The union has got the NFL by the balls after the NFL came within minutes of letting a Saints fan, complete with pics on his Facebook of him wearing Saints gear and posts from his friends saying "I can't believe they're going to let you ref that game," call the Saints-Panthers game Sunday.
The problems haven't been with judgement, but with some drastic lack of knowledge about NFL rules. Earlier tonight, they called pass interference on the Broncos on an obviously tipped ball and it took replay to fix it. Several times they've incorrectly administered the two minute warning. They are improperly marking off penalty yardage. They have to discuss after every flag, cause half of them don't know what's going on. It's just a mess.
I thought it was the NFL that locked them out and if the NFL wanted them back they would be back this Sunday. I really don't think the NFL is the one in trouble here. You think about it when the regular refs were there people still complained about them and the NFL did not worry about that. So why would the NFL worry now? Unless the NFL starts to lose money over this the Refs are still going to be locked out unless the ref agree to become full time employees like the NFL wants. Eventually the replacement refs will get better then the NFL will hold all the cards. They might just tell the regular guys your fired.
A diehard fan might be an improvement. Most of these officials look like they've never paid attention to a game before in their lives.

1) (not necessarily on here) but I hate how people are making it seem like the regular Refs never missed a call. The regular guys missed/made bad calls multiple times per game.
2) These replacement are horrible. It has almost become comical to watch a NFL game with these clowns throwing flags. the two worst games that I have seen so far are the Broncos-Falcons game last night and the Redskins-Rams game yesterday.

I mailed it in last night when I heard the ref say "pass interference on red."

It takes 4-8 minutes for them to come up with the wrong conclusion. Some of the calls are more egregious than decisions rendered in Olympic boxing. I know its a business, but the NFL needs to bite their tongue and pay these unionized 17ers.

insinuated that they were not screwing up calls, I just stated that it wasn’t their fault that they were put in this situation. It’s the fault of the league and those they replaced, for striking and allowing this. Again, I'm not saying that they don't suck.

They also had one tell LeSean McCoy that he was on his fantasy team and needed to do better. Wow.
Yeah, I agree that they're doing the best that they can and without them there would be no NFL football right now. I think the announcers and fans are being hypercritical of the substitute officials.
I Googled to see how much a regular official makes, and it's surprisingly low. It seems that they make $25K-$70K for a season. Of course, they only do one game a week as opposed to baseball umpires that do multiple games per week and make about $140K. They probably need a raise, but I was never a big fan of strikes by unions. But it wouldn't kill the NFL or whoever pays them to raise the ante a little.
