  1. Mississippi State is just the fifth team in college football history (and first since 1983) to win three straight games, all vs Top-10 teams, in a single regular season.
  2. The best QB in college football over the past couple of weeks? Look no further than Dak Prescott. Since September 13th, he has a QBR of 92.1 out of 100, the best in the nation over that stretch. That includes major wins over LSU and the Aggies for Mississippi State.
  3. Last season against Auburn, Prescott ran for 133 yards and two touchdowns. He also passed for 213 yards. He is the only player in at least the last 40 seasons to rush for at least 100 yards and pass for 200 against the Tigers.
  4. Dak Prescott has an FBS-high 98.4 third-down Total QBR this season.
  5. Mississippi State has yet to play a team this season that has lost a game. Their 6 opponents were a combined 15-0 entering the game (including Auburn).
  6. Nick Marshall and Dak Prescott are the only FBS quarterbacks with three 100-yard rushing games this season. Dating to last season, Marshall has the fourth-most rushing yards (1,460) for an FBS quarterback and the second-most runs (14) of 25 yards or more behind Northern Illinois' Jordan Lynch.
  7. Dak Prescott has been responsible for 20 touchdowns in five games, one more than Tim Tebow had through five games in 2007 when he set the SEC record for touchdowns responsible for (55).
  8. Nick Marshall's 1st-quarter INT gives him 3 career INT vs Miss State, more than he has thrown vs any other team in his career.

#9. Mississippi State has yet to lose a game this season while scoring first, or second for that matter.... or even last.

The first INT was clearly bad communication. Dak was looking for back-shoulder while RJ went for the fly. The second one was just a bad decision. All in all he didn't play a great game but he still delivered when it counted. I could wish for a more dominating performance, but **** it. If we're winning by double digits then any complaints I could have are ultimately inconsequential. Hail. State.

I would think more than five teams have won three straight games in the last 20 years.**

We need to work on hot routes to make the opposing defense pay when they gamble with trying to bring pressure against Dak

If the refs call delay of game on Florida, Kentucky would be undefeated going into this week. I think they play LSU next Saturday. So our opponents record coming into the game will be at worst 20-2 and at best 21-1.

Florida fans will tell you it would have only been a 5-yd penalty, not the end if the game. I have FLA friends and they won't shut up about it.
