1. They are worried about the debate being cancelled.
2. Their widescreen T.V. caught on fire this morning.
3. God hates them and they are expecting locusts and disease anytime now.
4. They are worried that the hippies from Berkely are going to get in their trees in the grove and smell the place up.
5. During a press conference, Haley Barbour had to pull Khayat away from the podium before he said something stupid.
6. They are still trying to decide if it is better to lose in the last seconds or get beat by 40.
7. There are good updates about the different protesters hanging around oxford.
8. One guy seems seriously concerned with "the protesters who carry signs of dead babies", I guess he is talking about
pro-life people. He says they are very aggressive.
It is a pretty good read right now. I suggest it.

Those jackasses had pictures of dead babies that were ripped apart in front of the hospital where I work. Now, the hospital I work at does not perform elective abortions mind you. But of course, to the uninformed, it certainly could have been taken that way.

To make it sports related, one of them was a midget.

Those guys would always be there! I felt sorry for the people lived in the subdivision across the street.

A few years ago, they had those damn signs all up and down HWY 25 and 12 on the way into Starkville for a ball game. Now, I am about as right wing as they come, and definitely against the pro-choice movement. However, when my kids are exposed to those signs, it really pisses me off. I just don't think the movement is furthered by those signs, nor are lives saved by them. At all. And that should be the only two reasons to use them.

used to take the family and a picnic lunch to (i.e. they tailgated at) public hangings on the town square.

Shades of the old Roman Empire, huh ?

they won't let predetermined events be held in states with the conf flag in the state flag, yet a presidential debate is being held there.

That's why we had to play the first 2 rounds of that pre-season basketball tournament at Birmingham a few years ago. Since we couldn't host, Birmingham Southern hosted. I do see that we're hosting the first 2 rounds of the Legend's basketball tournament this year. Not sure what the deal is. 3 possibilities I can see: 1) they used to enforce the rule and now they don't, 2) the rule somehow doesn't apply to the Legend's tournament, or 3) the rule was rescinded.
