Burger Queen had one of those cigarette machines by the counter with a big warning sticker on the front: NO SALE TO MINORS. I remember reading it out loud for my mother and then saying that the reason for it was because they might catch the coal on fire.

I think this is why I didn't get as much pressure for academics as my siblings.

Great thread.

I remember when I could do it multiple times a day without thinking the additional cardio wasn’t worth the sex. Man those were the days.

Spent many of summer days at Wildwoood park playing box hockey.

Riding my bike with a golf bag strapped to it to play 9 at Meadowbrook behind Southern Jr(Fudge the Middle School BS).
Never knew that's what those boxes were for.

I’ll get my Garden Springs gang back together and whoop y’all’s *** in box hockey. We had a kid that was unbelievable at that game (spoiler:not me)

Did anyone else have Parks and Rec folks work at their park all summer and drive everyone around to the movies, other pools, etc. Those guys couldn’t have been more than 18 driving around a bunch of 12-16 year olds.

Can't see any downside, really.

I remember being driven over to play against other parks for softball/basketball/football games. WWP had UK students as our park directors.

Parts of this video used to play on the early early days of the Disney Channel. I finally found it today. I bet a lot of you watched it back then too.

Couldn't find a pic but who here remembers the afternoon show on TVQ? with Happy & Froggy? Some dude dressed as a hobo/clown and a frog hand puppet. They'd show Stooges.Rascals/Flash Gordon, even had Buster Crabbe on as a guest one year.

Didn't remember the basketball sized gap between Chapman's chicklets when he was young.

I have no idea what is going on, but it gets a laugh every time.
It's actually pretty simple, Funk. You see, even though Leroy is a paladin, he needs some devout shoulders to help him heal better because the upcoming eggs give him, and his team, trouble every time.
