I have decided that I hate MSU fans that enjoy State losing many times more than I hate Ole Miss fans so I am going to step away from the computer for awhile. The loss today does not shock me in the least. Even our best teams thave tended to lose at Coleman and that MFing ranking was the kiss of death. We will kick the hell out of them in Starkville. We have to win at Fayetteville however.

One last thing. Seriously, if MSU basketball pains some of you so much even when we win then why follow it? It is not worth only being happy 8-9 times a season when we lose.

Everyone on here knows what the legitimate complaints are, but when people are calling for the coaches head midway through the first half of a game THAT WE WIN, the tone of pure ridiculousness has already been set. If we were beating a top 25 team (wait, hear me out), would people be on here during the game saying GIVE RICK A RAISE AND A LIFETIME CONTRACT NOW!?
Hell, they might. I don't know. Why is there no grey area here anymore?

I put the blame for today squarely on Stansbury. He had a week to prepare. He has seen the ****** D that Kodi and Ravern have been playing lately and still played them more than Phil Turner. Hell Ravern makes Benock look like a lock down defender. Kodi just does not even try. Yet he keeps trotting them out there. That is on Stansbury. Furthermore I did not excuse the loss. I said that it does not surprise me. Two different things.

And you are wrong about it only being C34 that enjoys these losses. It shouldn't take much research to figure out who they are.

...and I sure don't enjoy it. OEMDawg is about ready to kill himself. I don't think he enjoys it. And really, Coach has just convinced himself that we can't get better as a program with Stansbury and so the losses to him feel like Egg Bowl 2008. He appears to me to be the only one there, but I think more and more people will get there over the next few years.

I think there is something to the coaching life cycle. Stansbury has lost something. He needs to can an assistant or two and get us a floor coach and let him coach, but after 12 years, you can't ask him to do that.
