this schedule can't play out any better...

The games we would lose home or away (more than likely) are away games - LSU and Bama.

The two weakest SEC games we have are away which we would want - Kentucky and OM.

All of our games that questionable are at home (TN, A&M, Arkansas).

I am going to jinx the hell out of us but this is setting up nicely.

Tenn is a lot better than I thought they were going to be. Arky should be worse than I expected. Wilson might be hurt. A&M will hopefully be beat up by the time they get to us. Their QB is fast, it'll be like playing Houston again when they were good with more athletes.

What's so hard to think about is that we have a favorable schedule with a decent

team and not wonder what could go wrong.....

It's only the result of so many years of let downs. I'm just gonna enjoy one week at a time.

Way too early to say Tenn is "a lot" better than expected. And I dont care if Wilson is better by the time the Hogs roll into town, Arkansas has a A LOT of issues not related to Wilson's injury.

I totally agree. I don't get the love-fest for them. They beat GA State and NC State. What's the big deal? Granted, I have not seen them play this year, but everyone is talking like they could compete for the East. I just don't see the big change with TENN.

Maybe I should have said they have a lot more "talent" than I thought. A lot of explosive players including Rajon Neal (whom we we're in the race for late in recruiting...I wanted him). The juco wr patterson is dangerous and talented. Bray is seasoned and can play. I was most impressed with their o line even if it was against nc state. I am not worried, but we will have to play.

We should know more after Florida this week tho I am not sold on Florida either.

Well, from what I've seen of the rest of the East, that's not saying much. I think the UGA-USC game will decide the East and 3-6 will be a free for all, with Kentucky bringing up the rear.

Agree on UT. They beat a NCST team that scored 10 on Conn. NCST is not very good. UT will struggle to run the ball again this year.

TN really did look great against NC State. Bray stood tall in the pocket all day with great offensive line play and he was able to throw the ball down field and hit tall, athletic, and fast receivers all night.

Their pass rush and secondary also looked great.

All that being said, NC State might just be the suck. Key to the game for us is going to be defensive end and line play.

Let's see how they look against the Gators, but they suck too, so I'm not sure what we will take away from that either.

Their QB looked good like Russell did. Their WRs are huge, fast, and can jump and catch.

Speaking of jump, it looks like Jameson Lewis can get pretty good air. Reminds me of Kevin Prentis - little guy that can jump.
