This Arkansas backup QB looks almost as good as Mallet...

nothing like getting a sneak peak of next year..

Its the system. I think that'll hurt Mallet in the draft. He'll still be a 1st round pick, but some teams will be cautious because of Petrino's success.

Geez, this kid is lighting it up. It's always impressive to see a backup be this prepared to play when he is called upon. Very rarely are both the coaches and the player ready for it.

13-14, 3 TDs... on the road @ Auburn. That's insane.

offense had been in sync when we played them we would have beat them by two touchdowns. Their 17ing defense is awful and so is the pigs. I have never seen such ****** tackling. Our defense has improved and is much better than either of these.

This kid is cost Mallet money in the NFL draft.

Think about the other stud QBs Petrino has coached: The Deaf wonder of the World Stephan LeFlore, Brian Brohm,.. None of those guys have done much in the NFL, now a back up has thrown for 300 yards and 4 TDs in basically 1 quarter.

Interesting point. I won't say it is totally the system but you are right, it is making folks forget about Mallett for a little while.

Exactly, Petrino is close to being on offense what Saban is to defense... He's had great production everywhere he's gone, and to me, he's clearly the 2nd best coach in the league... If he had a DC and some talent on that side of the ball, they'd be dominant, and that's a hard thing to do at Arkansas. Put Petrino at an LSU or UF, and they'd be unstoppable
