We all knew it was coming, but it's still hard to believe we lost the Voice of the Bulldogs yesterday. I don't think I can wrap my mind around this fact that was printed:
"During his legendary career as the voice of the Bulldogs, Cristil called 636 football games since 1953, or roughly 60 percent of every football game played in the history of the institution."
Has any broadcaster ever been able to lay claim to that sort of tenure?
Simply amazing. Jack was the greatest. There will never be another.
