Every time we passed it into Jarvis they had 4 guys collapse on him. What, you would have rather had him take piss-poor shots all night and us end up losing? Oh wait, of course you would.Coach34 said:very good job defensively tonight...standing around shooting 3's the entire 1st half, not so much- we had 30 points on 9 trey's and some FT's...thats a little discouraging
the the only offense Stans knew was to pound the ball inside to Lawrence Roberts no matter how many defenders were draped all over him. With DePaul collapsing 4 guys inside the paint on defense and with us getting wide open looks at 3's from good 3-point shooters, WTF else could you possibly want us to do on offense???Coach34 said:standing around shooting 3's the entire 1st half, not so much
We average 76 points a game. What, precisely, is wrong with our offense? We had one off night offensively against Richmond. Our defense sucked against Rider. I'd say that both have looked good in the past couple of weeks. Now go ahead and cling to your new "our offense sucks and that's why Rick Stansbury needs to go" mantra.Coach34 said:the four-around-one set...people can cut to the basket when Jarvis has the ball...
all kinds of crazy things people do on offense these days
Just wait. When we play a team that decides guard the perimeter tight, he'll start bitching that all we know how to do is dump the ball down to Jarvis & Kodi.patdog said:the the only offense Stans knew was to pound the ball inside to Lawrence Roberts no matter how many defenders were draped all over him. I don't pretend to know much about basketball. I only pretend to know a lot about football and baseball.Coach34 said:and lost their 2 best players....i'll let you decide how good they are
