I'm exactly two hours here in Williamsburg, not a bad drive ... weather is running ~30% chance of rain but great temps

I think the UVA fans are going to be very surprised by the number of MSU fans that show up in Charlottesville. We get 400 tickets that are being sold to fans thru Bulldog Club Priority Rank and probably another 100-200 that go to players and coaches families. Those 500-600 should easily be sold. Where I think they will be surprised is by the number of additional tickets MSU fans get directly from UVA. They seat 4975 for a Super Regional and have been selling tickets for a couple of weeks and have not sold out. There are a lot of MSU grads in the DC Area about 120 miles away that will come down for this plus the scattered alums throughout Virginia, the Carolinas, and East TN that will find a way to support the Dogs.

It wouldn't surprise me to see at 20% or more of the fans pulling for the good guys this weekend.

Don't we have a pretty big alumni base in the DC area? This is a perfect opportunity for them to get to see a game. Get your asses to UVA on Saturday.

When we had our home and home with George Mason in basketball and played them in Fairfax, VA the year after their Final 4 run we probably had 1500 fans at the game. That's not a ton, but when you are close to 1000 miles from campus it is fairly impressive.

The DC Dawgs should certainly show up this weekend. No reason to not have a good showing Saturday and Sunday.
