and found myself getting pretty pissed (Darren Williams and Deuce McCallister come to mind). This story, reported correctly or not just doesnt even register to me as slightly important.

Answer: it's not a rumor. All three players admit to it. Veazey owes no duty to State's athletic department; they don't pay him to be their microphone.

No responsibility. But it'd probably even be in Veazey's best interest to not report potentially very negative topics until a little more research is done than facespace. MSU is the hand that feeds him, after all.
