When Hull called teammates to tell them his plans to retire after 14 years of professional football, they tried to talk him out of it. Most notable among the teammates who wanted Hull to play at least one more year was Hull's good friend, Jim Kelly, the Hall of Fame quarterback.<span class="aa"></span></p>
