I always hated games against less competition. Maybe you can do this on game one or if we got blown out by ASU.
my bad, i'm behindSecond half just 10 minute quarters.
I had no idea they did that. You'd think the advertisers would object.Second half just 10 minute quarters.
Losing out on those 10,000 viewers still watching in MississippiI had no idea they did that. You'd think the advertisers would object.
I would like the record to show that despite my generally crappy takes I only like winning! Our fans hate to lose and hate to win.
I stopped watching before halftime. There were only two local ads that were shown over and over for a Toyota dealership and a sign company. I probably lasted longer than any other viewer in Alabama.Losing out on those 10,000 viewers still watching in Mississippi
Not complaining. Just if we want to win SEC games we need to play against good competition.Man, let the backups get a chance to play. We beat a top 15 team and now can sit on cruise control, quit complaining
This is no different than what most every team does once a year. Enjoy it.Man, let the backups get a chance to play. We beat a top 15 team and now can sit on cruise control, quit complaining
That's what Toldeo said last year about us.That;'s what our SEC brethen said last year about us.
Yall refuse to be happy about anything. Don’t worry in about 6 months we’ll be sitting in Dudy Noble, eating cold hot dogs, feeding the opposing team and hoping they’ll say something nice about us on social media so we can all have a circle jerk and feel good about ourselves
Or we need to stay healthy and develop depth. Not complaining. Just if we want to win SEC games we need to play against good competition.
Winning is fun I don't care who it's against. It's certainly more rewarding against a P4 opponent. MSU should relish any win they can get.3-0 is 3-0.
I get what youre saying but if this game had been a 35-14 type of affair I'd be having much less fun.Winning games is fun.
Having teams on the schedule that you know will give you a few Ws is fun.
The score of those games being 35 to 14 is more fun from a watching perspective.
I'm sure playing UAB instead would have really moved the needleI would rather play a mid level FBS team from a non big 3 conference... Another reason I prefer real games is viewership. At the end of each season ESPN and the folks that make decisions review the number of people watching teams on TV. I'm sure we got a huge boost from this game! ****

Some of those teams don't qualify for less competition in that they are pretty good. That's the reason it is tough for us to schedule other good P5 schools because playing us is generally a no win situation for an Ohio State, Notre Dame, Clemson etc. They gain nothing by winning but can get hurt badly if we win which is a possibility.Especially past games against Maine, LA Tech, Troy, Memphis, USM, Toledo, Louisville. You get the idea.............
They beat Notre Dame last yearDidn't niu beat notre dame or some one like that a few years back?
I mean let's not forget we got boat raced by Toledo last year.
Nothing is given. Play your opponent each we the best you can. If it's a blow out in our favorite that's great it's better than the alternative. Again see Toledo last year.
Yeah... and don't even get me started about THE BAND.Our fans hate to lose and hate to win.
