to turn in his "Cam-shopping" to the NCAA that Cecil told him to go ahead because Cam would be finished playing before any real consequences came out of it or something like that. Appears Cecil will turn out to be right. Auburn got their NC and Cam earned his way into the first round and will now ride off into the sunset. Cecil and Cam could care less what may or may not happen to Auburn from this point forward. Absolute worst case for them would be Cam has to give back his Heisman but I doubt the Newtons even care about that.
We have heard so much but actually being reported I do not know. On the trophy you know they do not want to give it up. It has got to be worth at least another quarter million for Cecil. I bet Cecil is getting paid so much right now to be quiet that it is not even funny.
I'm assuming they see something since the FBI was investigating. Doesn't really seem to fall under extortion, but something about it has to be illegal.
