Let’s say private school is $10K per year but instead you invested that and got a 5% return you’d have $177K after 12 years. From my perspective, my kid would be better off with the $177K than the private school education.
But you certainly will not do that.......lets be honest.

You want to know the real reason, Ron? I went to private school and ended up at good ole State U. My brother went public - even bussed inner city - and ended up at Yale.
I think public schools can be awesome. I went to great public schools until I was a sophomore. I really noticed no educational difference in fact. If I were in charge of JCPS I'd end bussing cold and get rid of the D&I lunatics, fund the hell out of West End (poorer) schools, tell the East end (richer) schools funding is going down so hold private fundraisers and bake sales. Bussing kids all over the place and not having really any schools in the West end is a travesty.
So in two years of private school you were able to form your opinion?

Funding has little to do with the issues with the west end schools. Parental involvement is a better gauge of success.

So Louisville will teach racist math to students and Floridia high school grads will be taught basic financial matters to succeed in life. If I am a parent in Louisville I find a private school for my kids or move to Oldham County.

You truly are an idiot.

It’s not a funding matter. Correct.
