That no one on this message board, and the same goes for most, has any freaking idea what is actually going on. People anonymously post information on message boards to boost their own sense of worth. It's hilarious to see people actually buy the crap spewed as 'inside info' based on 'sources' that turns out to be completely wrong, only to come back drooling over the same baseless speculation about another topic.<div>
</div><div>Coach34 claimed our final 3 were Kenny Payne, Stan Jones, and Mike Davis....think about how hilarious that looks now....and those were names being promoted by many other message boards as well. Guess what? These people spend all their time reading message boards and want to feel important, so they regurgitate the information as their own, assuming it wouldn't be so pervasive if there wasn't truth to it. But people have bought into the internet 'inside info' so much they now assume it was a desperate hire because we must have struck out on all the guys we were trying to hire. The rational thing to do would be to assume all that information was, in fact, crap, that we interviewed Rick Ray without anyone knowing, and liked the guy enough to hire him.</div>
