Since we haven't seen very many recently.

Here's Graveman's line in his past two starts vs. Auburn: 0-1, 2 starts, 8.64 ERA, 8.1 IP, 11 H, 11 R, 8 ER, 6 BB, 5 K, 3 HBP. Do you think the magic runs out tonight considering how well Auburn hit last night and how badly Graveman has pitched against them historically?

Man hunting is a sport in my book.

Graveman will perform well.

He got roughed up a little in 2010, but no one who did any damage is on the current Auburn roster.
Didn't pitch against them in 2011.
Got hit around pretty good again in 2012. Tella, Cooper and Glevenyak all played a key part in that, so got to watch out for them tonight, although Gelvenyak has been on the pine the last week or so.

If you like to worry, you can also worry about the cold weather and the action on his sinker.

The fact that auburn lifted the ball on Ross last night concerns me. Hopefully Ross just wasn't very sharp

This^^ is why I probably would have swapped Lindgren and Graveman for this weekend. Graveman always pitches in day games, and it will be warmer tomorrow. But oh well, no worries.

Ross has been getting the ball up more in the zone lately which is a concern. Did last night as well as last Sunday at A&M and some against Florida in that Sunday game. The last few outings I don't believe his control is quite what it was earlier in the season though he certainly pitched great in the Governor's Cup.

No & I would judge him by his 'last' start far more than his starts against Auburn last year.
Especially since pitchers at MSU under Butch go from bad to 1st round in only an off season.

Also worth noting Auburn is a couple years removed from the best HR hitting team in the NCAA. Not the same team...
